Shipping Policy
Our number one priority at Yale Lighting Concepts and Design is your satisfaction! We take pride in providing you with reliable, prompt and careful delivery of your purchase. Therefore, we ship our products to you using one of two methods—standard ground or truck freight. You choose the one best suited for your order. All shipping charges are calculated at the time of your online purchase.
Shipping Options
1) Standard ground (<70lbs and under 72" in circumference)
Small-to-medium sized orders will ship using UPS or Fed Ex. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. This e-mail will contain a tracking number so you can check on the status of your order and when delivery will take place. Shipments usually take 2-6 business days from the time it leaves our warehouse until it reaches your door.
A signature will be required on all deliveries, unless instructions are noted by you when completing your order. If no one is available to sign, you may also post a note on your door with delivery instructions, or the courier will leave a 'delivery attempted' note with further instructions for receiving your package. You may call UPS or FedEx for further instructions or stop by their local facility to sign for your parcel. We do this to make sure you received your package!
Need your order faster? We offer expedited shipping services which include Next Day, Two Day and Three Day services. These services are available only to accelerate the transit time your parcel is en route but play no role regarding in-house handling time (prior to shipping). Yale Lighting Concepts does NOT guarantee any delivery dates. All lead times are estimates based on "the average" time it takes to ship from a manufacturer or our warehouse. Always feel free to contact our customer service department at 877-336-0342 Monday—Friday from 8AM—5PM (EST) for more details and to determine the best method for delivery of your products, based on your personal needs.
2) Truck Freight (>70lbs and larger than 72" circumference)
If your order is bigger than mentioned above, we need to ship it via truck freight in order to ensure the safest method of delivery.
Your items will be delivered to curbside or driveway and could incur an additional $75 oversized item surcharge. Please contact our customer service department for more details or with any questions you may have.
Estimated Shipping Times
If an item is shown in stock, the average delivery time is 1-3 days. Otherwise, all other items may be shipped directly from our manufacturers. Their lead times are all estimated, and are subject to prior sale and availability of product. These shipping dates are NOT guaranteed.
If your order consists of custom made products please order well in advance to avoid project delays and to ensure delivery times to meet your needs.
